Canterbury-Bankstown captain Andrew Ryan has been kept on the leash at Belmore until 2011 after re-signing with the club for another three years.

Ryan, 29, made his debut for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs">Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in round 1 in 2003 and has played 120 first grade games for the Club. He sensationally made his captaining debut in the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs">Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Grand Final win in 2004.

Andrew Ryan said, "I've very happy to be running around with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs">Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs for a few more years yet.

"I've been with the Club for six years and it was always my first preference to stay with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs">Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs for more years to come.

"It's a great club, from the players, to the coaching staff to the administration. We've got a very enthusiastic and committed squad and will be giving the NRL competition a real shake over the next few years."

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs">Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs coach Steve Folkes commented, "Andrew is a true professional on and off the field. He hasn't been a NSW and Australian representative over the past few years for nothing."
