Outgoing coach Tony Smith will get the opportunity to finish his career with Leeds in a blaze of glory after his side easily disposed of Wigan 36-6 to qualify for the Super League Grand Final.

Tries from Brent Webb, Ali Lauiti'iti, Rob Burrow and 16 points from skipper Kevin Sinfield proved the perfect knock-out blow to end the Warriors season.

For Wigan coach Brian Noble, the loss ended an enviable winning streak in which he had previously never lost a play-offs match outside the Grand Final.

The Rhinos will now play reigning champions St Helens at Old Trafford on Saturday October 13.
