Warriors back rower Epalahame Lauaki will join his older brother and All Black Sione as a test footballer when he makes his debut for the Kiwis in the first test against Great Britain in Huddersfield on Saturday.

The 23-year-old Lauaki is one of two Kiwi debutants for the Galpharm Stadium test along with Sydney Roosters fullback Sam Perrett (22).

Coach Gary Kemble- named a new halves combination featuring Warriors utility Lance Hohaia at standoff while Wigan’s Thomas Leuluai is recalled at halfback.

“We have spent a lot of time discussing the halves,” said Kemble.

“With the World Cup coming up next year, we have to look at our options at halfback and standoff.

It was never going to be easy once Stacey (Jones) finished up but we have faith in Thomas and Lance providing a better combination for this test.”

New Zealand are looking for their first Test win in 2007 after being belted 58-0 by Australia in Wellington two weeks ago.

Great Britain coach Tony Smith has named uncapped duo Sam Burgess and Maurie Fa'asavalu in a 20-man squad for the opening Test.

Burgess produced a scintillating a man-of-the-match performance for the Northern Union against the New Zealand 'All Golds' in last Saturday's centenary international
