Queensland eyes will be on teenage sensation Gerard Beale who is tipped to become the first 17-year-old to debut for Brisbane since Karmichael Hunt in 2003.

After impressing officials last weekend against the Cowboys in Rockhampton with a try of his own, Beale will travel with an experienced Broncos line-up to tackle Canberra in Orange on Saturday.

Beale will be the only player in the side who has yet to make his NRL debut.

``The kid's good, I'm not going to hide it,' Broncos assistant Ivan Henjak told the Courier Mail.

``He's handled every challenge so far and he can handle a few positions. Physically it didn't seem to bother him (against the Cowboys). He handled himself well but it goes up another notch again this weekend.'

Brisbane remain undefeated in the trials having also defeated the Central Comets 30-12 two weeks ago. - Read More, Here
