The Orange Hawk Sevens Carnival will return to a new venue this year and will now be contested over just one day instead of two.

Following the success of the inaugural tournament last February, players are ready to rumble all over again albeit over one day.

The tournament will now be played out in full at Endeavour Oval on March 1.

Hosting the Sevens event at Endeavour Oval will allow fixtures involving all 16-teams to be played on two ovals.

All teams involved will come mostly from Group 10 and 11 though it’s expected that a few sides from Group 20 will also make the northern trek

Teams will be split into pools of four with the top two teams from each progressing through to the quarter-finals.

2007 champions Cabonne United will be hard to beat this season. They folded this year due to a lack of player numbers.
Event co-ordinator John Hill said 13 teams have already been confirmed with only 3 remaining sides still to be found. - Read More, Here
