Injuries have setback Scotland’s plans for victory at the 2008 Rugby League World Cup with players Daniel Heckenberg and Rhys Lovegrove withdrawing from the squad.

The Scots have also lost Wigan winger Mark Calderwood after he received a call-up to England’s train-on squad.

Those also gone include Workington back-rower Iain Marsh (broken arm) while Richard Fletcher (Widnes), Spencer Miller (Whitehaven) and Graeme Horne (Hull) all pulled out for personal reasons.
