Former Penrith premiership winning hero Scott Sattler labelled his future in football "open book" after resigning as Gold Coast Titans Football Manager yesterday.

The 36-year-old - who is remembered fondly for his try-saving tackle in the 2003 Grand Final on Roosters winger Todd Byrne - quit the rookie NRL franchise to pursue other interests.

Sattler - who commentates on NRL games for Fox Sports - will concentrate on his work in the media while looking for opportunities in the commercial sector.

Sattler's will be replaced by current Titans National Youth Competition 20's Football Manager and Club Operations Manager Scott Clark.
