While both coaches did everything they could to tactically outsmart the other, Steve Folkes and Gold Coast mentor John Cartwright agreed on one thing after yesterday’s game.

That Sunday’s debut showdown between the Bulldogs and the Titans will probably not win over too many fans to the greatest game of all.

“My assistant coach Kevin Moore reckons it ranks in his top 5 all-time boring games” admitted comical Dogs coach Steve Folks after his side toppled the Titans 22-6 at Telstra Stadium.

Cartwright shared similar sentiments also.

“Call it what you like but it wasn’t good footy.”

Global Rugby League went even further by exclusively demanding that this game never be replayed on either free-to-air or pay television in the history of mankind.

“Rugby League fans are still human beings and do not deserve to be punished like that ever again,” GRL Chief Editor Josh King said.
