Players who didn’t make the cut included Steve Ella, Justin Hodges, Larry Corowa, Matt Bowen, Ricky Walford, Scott Prince, Dean Widders, Preston Campbell and Queensland favourite Vern Daisey.
Anthony Mundine was left out not that many in Rugby League were too disappointed at that decision.
The Aboriginal Team of the Century is:
Eric Simms; Lionel Morgan; Steve Renouf; Greg Inglis; Dale Shearer; Laurie Daley; Johnathan Thurston; Cliff Lyons; Sam Thaiday; Gordon Tallis; Arthur Beetson; Mal Cochrane; Sam Backo. Reserves: George Green; Wally McArthur; Frank Fisher; John Ferguson. - Read More, Here
