Former Parramatta halfback Peter Sterling once said in a documentary that you never forget winning your first club's first premiership. Yet trophy dominant teams of the past won't hog all of the celebrations commemorating 100 years of Rugby League in season 2008, writes Josh King.

Yet the last time I went through the official itinerary of the 2008 Centenary events published in the 2007 Rugby League annual, there was nothing being organised to recognise the achievements of any of the 100 teams that have won the Wooden Spoon since Western Suburbs first did the lap of dishonour back in 1908.
